Better Drinking Ventures is a team of drinks and hospitality specialists with one simple ambition: to make the drinks industry better.
We work where brands, bars, people and ideas come together. From strategy and commercial development to events, experiences, training and education, we help drinks brands and hospitality businesses turn good ideas into things that actually work in the real world.
Our strength lies in combining industry knowledge with hands-on experience. We understand the market from both sides of the bar. What brands need to achieve, what hospitality professionals need to succeed, and, most importantly, what consumers actually want to drink.
The BDV team brings together different backgrounds, skills and perspectives, but we share the same approach: curious, entrepreneurial and deeply connected to the drinks industry. We don't believe in solutions that only look good on paper. We believe in ideas that create relevance, build relationships and deliver results.

Meet the team
Thomas Timmermans
Founder & managing director
Thomas Timmermans is the founder of Better Drinking Ventures. With a background in hospitality and drinks, he works across brand strategy, business development, events and education.
Over the years, he has built a broad network within the drinks industry and worked closely with both drinks brands and hospitality professionals. Through BDV, he brings these experiences together to develop practical ideas, projects and partnerships that create value for everyone involved.
Joni Eggers
Back office & customer service coördinator
Joni Eggers is BDV's Back Office & Customer Service Coordinator. With many years of experience in both high-end and high-volume horeca, she brings a strong understanding of hospitality and, above all, a genuine focus on customer service.
Within BDV, Joni manages the day-to-day back-office operations, follows up with customers and partners, coordinates logistics and requests, and makes sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Talle Goossens
Bar manager & head of drink strategy
Talle Goossens is BDV's Head of Drink Strategy and, together with BDV, co-owner of Bar Hootch. A young and passionate bartender, Talle brings creativity, energy and a hands-on approach to the team.
Talle is the beating heart of Bar Hootch and our hands-on guy when it comes to drink development and event catering. From creating new drinks and concepts to getting behind the bar and making things happen, he is happiest when he is in the middle of the action. Expressive, curious and hard-working, Talle brings a lot of energy to everything he takes on.
